How To Use

Directions

Apply this gentle face and body cream at least twice daily, in the mornings and evenings before applying any makeup and sunscreen. Reapply after showering or as needed.

Soteri Skin Gentle Start may be combined with a steroidal topical if you are using one. Please apply your steroidal topial first, followed by Soteri Skin Gentle Start.

Many users see results within the first 1-2 weeks! GENTLE START works best when applied twice daily over a 4- 6 week period.

Skin tingling and stinging

Depending on how irritated your skin is, you may experience a slight sensation of tingling or stinging upon application. This is a positive indication that Soteri Skin Gentle Start has immediately started to work on your skin to restore your acid mantel and balance your surface pH. Keeping your creams fresh

GENTLE START is free from preservatives that irritate sensitive skin. To keep the cream as fresh as possible, use the pump bottle and always cover with the cap after using. How long until I see results?

While many people see improvement within the first week, this isn’t true for everyone. You can expect to see results within 3-4 weeks after starting to use your Soteri products twice daily.

I have ____ condition. Will this work for me?

Soteri products are formulated to be safe for the most sensitive of skin (ie. eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and xerosis) and even damaged skin.

Most skin conditions involve disruption of the balance between the skin barrier, acid mantle, and microbiome, which Soteri was specifically created to correct.

Is this tingling sensation normal?

While some people never experience this sensation upon applying Soteri skincare, others may find that they experience stinging or tingling. Don’t worry; the tingling sensation is perfectly normal. It’s an indication that your skin barrier may have been compromised, and that our formulation is working to reset your skin's balance. It should fade as your skin recovers. In fact, you can use the tingling as a feedback mechanism to assess the health of your skin!

Can I use this with steroids?

Yes, you can use Soteri skincare with topical steroids. For best results apply 5-10 minutes after you apply your steroid cream.

Where does Soteri fit in a routine?

Our products are carefully formulated to provide all the ingredients and hydration that skin needs, so you don’t need to apply other skincare. We include powerful, safe actives such as niacinamide, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid, so Soteri can replace many other serums or treatments.

While Soteri is great on its own, it also plays well with your other skincare faves. If you have a skincare routine you like to stick to, use Soteri in place of your moisturizer. However, we don’t recommend using it with other products that contain AHA, BHA, or PHA, because that can be irritating for your skin, and that’s exactly what we don’t want.

Use Soteri at least twice per day—after cleansing, and whenever skin is dry. You’ll start seeing results in about 3-4 weeks.

Will Soteri play well with my makeup?

Yes! In fact, BALANCING ACT makes a great base for makeup. We recommend applying BALANCING ACT without any other skincare before putting on your makeup.

Can I get a free sample?

In our experience, sample sizes aren’t enough for people to properly test whether Soteri skincare will work for them. We recommend that people apply Soteri for at least 3+ weeks to see results. However, we do offer a 30-day no-questions-asked full refund if you find that Soteri doesn’t work for you.

I've been dealing with red, flaky, dry skin off and on for years. I'm not good at using a daily/nightly cream and the sides of my nose and between my brows especially suffer for it! I now use Soteri Gentle Start (usually for 3 days) when my skin turns red and dry and then follow-up with Soteri Skin "No More Rough-Patches". The dry area clears up in less than a week.
